Poem 1: Seasons

Bare ground suddenly green
Pale shoots doubling overnight
Flowers of all colours appearing everywhere
Blue bells, white bells, and yellow daffodils

Bees working furiously
Collecting pale flower dust
Wasps hunting for flies
Distracted by man's sweet drinks

Ripening apples and browning leaves
First frosts panicking growers
Harvests on the minds of many
Orange pumpkin, red tomato, and yellow corn

Ice beads of spider's webs
Clouds in front of faces
Snow making every garden identical
All covered in a cold white wool
