Poem 13: Little Sparks of Happiness

Seeing next-door's toddler wandering around the garden
Hearing all the bees buzzing around our own
Finding that the slug-eaten carrots are starting to sprout again
Being surprised by a butterfly appearing out of nowhere
Noticing that the cornflowers are open and one of them is pink
Or that the peonies will be opening soon
And times when I wake up early enough that I can go back to sleep
